Transfer Promotion Terms and
Conditions
- The transfer promotion applies to customers who
purchase any Standard linux plans located at:
http://www.hostinpak.com/standard_hosting.htm
- This offer is valid to any customers who purchase
services for at least a year.
- This offer is not valid to resellers or
affiliates.
- The customer must provide proof that the
account(s) that are transferred must be registered
with the previous host for more than 30 days.
- The customer should request this transfer
promotion by emailing our sales dept at
sales@hostinpak.com within 7 days after
initial signup.
- The customer should present cancellation notice to
previous hosting account and provide document showing
the expiration date of the previous account in order
to receive compensation for the months remaining with
the previous hosting provider.
- Rissadum Web Hosting will credit up to 6 months of
unused hosting with previous host to the new Rissadum
Web Hosting account. This will be done when acceptable
form of proof of hosting services with previous host.
These can be the following: credit card statement
showing the charge for prepaid hosting, welcome email
from previous host showing start date and plan length,
payment receipt showing start date and plan length, or
any other document showing start date and plan length.
- The promotion does not have any cash value and
cannot be combined with any other offers or
promotions.
Website Transfer
Terms:
- The customer must email our technical dept at
support@hostinpak.com with the ftp, control
panel login details, MySQL login details, database
export tools, etc from the previous host in order to
expediate the transfer process. All additional
assistance that may be needed during the transfer,
which includes but is not limited to: contacting its
previous host in case of technical problem on its
side, etc.
- We cannot guarantee successful transfer if any of
the following conditions is present:
- If the website uses a different MySQL version
than what Rissadum Web Hosting currently uses
(currently MySQL 5+)
- If the website uses a different PHP version than
what Rissadum Web Hosting currently uses (currently
PHP 5+)
- If the website uses a different server settings
that are different from Rissadum Web hosting
- If the server of the previous host continuously
experiences time outs during the transfer
- Email accounts and messages can only be
transferred if the previous hosting account was
managed with cPanel version compatible with Rissadum
Web Hosting cPanel (currently using 10+ and 11+)
- FTP accounts can only be transferred if the
previous hosting account of the customer was managed
with a cPanel version compatible with Rissadum Web
Hosting cPanel.
- Subdomains, addon domain and parked domains should
be additionally recreated on the Rissadum Web Hosting
customer's account if the previous hosting account of
the customer was NOT managed with a cPanel version
compatible with Rissadum Web Hosting cPanel. This
should be requested additionally by the customer, as
it is not included in the website transfer.
- The website transfer can take up to 7 days to be
completed after all necessary information is provided
by customer.
- Website content greater than 2 GB cannot be
transferred for free as part of the transfer
promotion.
